Bring back the Hayabusa/Katana Armor into Halo 5?

Hello, I’m Doctor Colress. I know many of us loved Halo 3 in the past, and I’m wondering or thinking if 343 Industries should bring back the Hayabusa armor and put it in Halo 5. Same design, but just slightly improved graphics. I think that would be amazing and to the community, because a lot of people loved that armor back in Halo 3. And by any chance, there should be an armor variant with the Hayabusa armor where it comes with the katana on the back of your Spartan, just like in Halo 3! What do you guys think? Should it come back into Halo 5? I think it should!

How is this obtainable you might ask?
Well, in Halo 3, you had to obtain a certain amount of achievements for the Hayabusa armor and the katana on your back. I think it should be either unlocked by getting a certain amount of achievements in Halo 5 or just by finding it in gold packs. I would probably just say gold packs… Probably recommended more by the community anyway. We could always try both ways, both by achievements or finding it in gold packs.

Should the katana be on your back?
I think it should! Who wouldn’t want an awesome looking katana on your back? It’s what goes with Hayabusa. I think it should just be with the armor itself, instead of finding another variant with or without the katana. You won’t be able to use it in combat, it’s just only for looks. You won’t be able to see it, but others can or if you go into theater mode and check it out for yourself!

343i can’t bring it back due to Team Ninja being the owner.

As stated above me, and many many many other times, the Hayabusa armor was based off Ryu Hayabusa, who belongs to Team Ninja. Unless 343 and Team Ninja strike up a deal… well, never gonna happen.

.

I’m expecting someone to put “Hayabusa set is owned by Team Ninja” in their signature.

Looks like I’m gonna listen to that whole song again.

Oh god plz no!!!

No!! No!! Nooooooooooo!!!

No, the most non halo art style that there ever was. The armor does not fit and was over used. Go find a Gundam or ninja game with a similar art style.

Like others have Bungie, nor 343 have the license. If you want an armour like that 343 will have to make a new design all by themselves.

I’d love it, but because of pesky legal reasons we can’t have it.
I suggest making a redesign on a different armor but still going with an ancient Asian aesthetic.
since in no ways anyone has a monopoly on Asian designs it’s perfectly legal along with the katana.

But I’d imagine it’d go into Halo 6 seeing as most likely the next update will be Halo Wars 2 themed

Yes hayabusa needs to come back

fir all them noobs that thought hayabusa was rare

also I love the swords

They can’t as others above me said, the armor is owned to Team Ninja and not Halo

I would rather have them add some armor unlock for collecting the skulls in the campaign. I thought the hyabusa armor was cool but I enjoyed me n my friends unlocking it more than using it.
Perhaps a new type of Asian inspired armor for getting the skulls

I don’t understand why Hayabusa is so damn special. Sure there is a katana on its back but that’s all I think that is cool. And you can’t copywrite a sword. So instead they could just bring back it not the whole armor which they probably will never be able to.

Sorry if that seemed like a mini rant lol.

We have Shinobi and Raider that follow the samurai-inspired design of the Hayabusa armor.

Wait a second… if the Hayabusa armor is meant to be based off of Ryu Hayabusa’s outfit… why the hell does it look like samurai armor? Isn’t he supposed to be a ninja?

Actually, you probably can copyright a sword. I don’t think you could get away with trying to claim a group of swords characterized by certain characteristics as your own intellectual property (well, you might be able to do that), but individual swords? Yeah, that could probably happen.

Be honest.
You just want a sword…

The armor looks like a ninja power ranger.

Hayabusa armor, was bungie’s thanks to ->
Team Ninja, for including a halo spartan into dead or alive 4. (Unlockable fighter)

343 wasn’t part of that deal.
And holds no rights to use the name or image of “ryu hayabusa” from ninja gaiden. (Team Ninja)

Funny enough, Hayabusa is based off from the samurai.

@AftermaTh XCVII & @comedyshermit Ahhhhh, my apologies. I had no clue it was owned by Team Ninja. That’s a darn shame. Sorry about the fuss, I honestly had no clue it was owned by Team Ninja. It makes sense now.

@RipShaDe 41 Please don’t be mean. I had no idea it was owned by Team Ninja.

Maybe we Spartans outta pay a visit to team ninja.

They’re right on this one. It would be overrated if it was added into Halo 5. Just like the Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor - Mark IV, it’s used a lot. It’s starting to die down, but yeah… Hayabusa would be used too much, now that I think of it.
