IMO the only new weapon in Reach that was good,fun to use, and unique was the grenade launcher. I would like to see it return in Halo 4.
The trailer makes it look like there will be a grenade handgun.

Not… Exactly. The idea of a small pistol shooting grenades is odd to me. Maybe a weapon from this ancient enemy we’ll be fighting.

The Brute shot was a great weapon back in it’s day, I would like to see it’s return.

I honestly doubt and hope not to see a single weapon from reach in 4. Its not that I hate the new weapons its just for story reasons it would be a disconnect. Reach came before halo1 and as bungie said with weapons and armor abilities we can introduce those on reach since it had more advanced technology. Another thing they said was for it to fit in cannon all the stuff would be lost on reach. As such this game is taking place after halo 3 and the only way I could see that weapon make a return is if it is an entirely new weapon. It could be there but it would look different with a different name.
I agree with HalcyonsXcution, It would break the timeline and storyline if weapons from Reach, that weren’t featured in Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 or Halo 3 : ODST were brought into the most recent game.
No, the grenade luncher is for noobs. That is why it is called Noob-tube. I want something like the brute shot which can be used for jumps and tricks.
