Bring Back the Brutes, Skirmishers, and Flood

Halo 4 was great but I missed a few old standards like the Brutes and Flood. I am hoping 343 expands the enemy list by a large number so maybe Master Chief will have to face more combat adversity. Hopefully they copy, paste and enhance all the enemies from Halo 4. Also I do want them too bring back the Brutes, Skirmishers, Engineers, Drones, all the Flood types, and make up some new ones too for the Promethean classes as well. There is also another thought I have that 343 might just have the Forerunners show up as the big new adversary and that could open up a whole new can of worms.

I want to say most Skirmishers were wiped out on Reach, but I could be wrong.

As for Brutes, Flood, Drones, etc…yeah. Absolutely.

Halo 2-esque Brutes, too. Those ones were tense.

I hope Brutes, Drones, and Flood make a return in Halo 5. Skirmishers on the other hand…I always hated those guys b/c they were difficult to take down and hope they do not appear in Halo 5.

Agreed. I really want them to bring back Drones though, I feel like in the past games they never reached their potential. For example I think they should have very little shields and health, almost an instant kill when shot, but there are MUCH more of them. They can pick up marines and fling them around etc.

I’d love to see the brutes, flood, drones and engineers return. Skirmishers are a different story… I hate those guys in particular.

Brutes should be like Halo 2 brutes. Big walls of muscle that couldn’t be easily beaten in a fist fight. The pansy brutes from Halo 3 have to go :P.

Reach took it back in the right direction, but I didn’t quite enjoy how easy it was to kill them.

Skirmishers can DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

> I want to say most Skirmishers were wiped out on Reach, but I could be wrong.

Skirmishers were still around after the war, so there’s a chance that they could return in a future Halo game.

Skirmishers+Drones is a pretty nasty combination.

Bring it on!

Brutes can’t come back, the Elites -Yoinked!- their -Yoink- up.

Drones is the one thing i want .

Halo The Thursday War says you are wrong

Loved how skirmishers were a fast moving easy to kill enemy that actually assaulted you instead of their jackal cousins sitting back being annoying.

They meant you had to keep moving and prevented camping in firefight to an extent, they also added a good challange to the game

This, they added an extra layer of challenge, I think I would like to see them back

That’s true…especially when they love to stick each other accidentally with the Plasma Grenade. Funniest thing about them, especially during Firefight.

The only thing good about the Halo 2 Brutes was that they would berserk and charge you, other than that they were just bullet sponges. If they combined the Reach Brutes with the Halo 2 Brutes’ berserk attack, then they might be a good enemy.

I would like to see skirmishers, drones and flood back. More importantly bring back the brutes, especially the chieftains. I want to be scared when I see a chieftain on the field charging at me with his gravity hammer.

I want this Storm Covenant to have some more variety.

Grunts
Jackals
Skirmishers
Elites
Brutes (Halo 2+Reach)
Drones
Engineers
Hunters (Reach)
Sharquoi (I just want to see one of these in action, and the Storm Covenant is kind of desperate)
Promethean Knights (Jul has plenty)

Oh, and also this

Hmm… I highly doubt that any Brutes would want to join a Covenant that is commanded by their natural nemesis (Elites), but I would like to see them as their own faction.

Agreed, however it was limited to only the original 4 Covie enemies because the Storm is relatively new, hopefully the next two games will have more.
