I was just watching a few gamefilms today, and it’s amazing how fun that playlist was.
It had good gameplay, DMR starts most times, good maps, and if I searched with a full team, I got good, competitive games 8/10 games.
I miss it. Super Slayer isn’t as fun / competitive.

I don’t think so. Squad DLC isn’t even Title Updated and is just a playlist for people to play DLC maps.
Bringing back the Squad Slayer playlist for the next monthly matchmaking update would be wonderful. 5v5 has always been a perfect balance for Slayer gametypes.
Now whenever I’m playing with four other people I have to play Team Objective, not that it’s a bad playlist.
Team Objective is awful 5v5.
Unless it’s 2 Flag Slayer.
Matching a decent party in Objective and playing anything other than 2 Flag Slayer isn’t fun. It’s a stupid fest.

I love the fact Objective is 5v5, the maps still work great just like Squad Slayer, heck me & my team used to only run Squad exclusively until it was removed, the bump up from 4v4 to 5v5 was a great decision.
I’d like to see Squad return but the fact are clear, it won’t.

Slayer 5v5 on the maps works fine - which is why 2 Flag Slayer is still the best game type (In the whole game, but I digress). Playing the Obj in a 5v5 is too difficult now - mostly because there’s too many people - the rest is due to the slow movement speeds while running the Obj.
Neutral Bomb Asylum is a guaranteed tie if you match another decent party.
Heck, any CTF game is near impossible to cap now because of how slow you have to run the flag.
(These scenarios are all against good players)

That was simple.
My and my friends played squad all the time. Going to 75 meant a chance to get more kills and the playlist didn’t have stupid sword base. Also now when I play super slayer with a group of 3 our random quits and if we have a team of 4 people on the other team start to quit the playlist is full of quitters. I have a hard time finding a playlist I enjoy now that squad is gone.
YES!!! I miss this playlist. It was great. Super slayer just isn’t as good. Squad slayer didn’t have all the forge world maps and had no armor lock, it was perfect.

People miss Squad so much they bumped a 23 day old thread.
Seeing how 5v5 Obj was supposed to make up for the removal of squads, i doubt SS will return. I enjoyed as much as the next person (the time spent wasn’t too long but enough to enjoy SS) but i don’t think it’s returning.
Also; Squad DLC isn’t a replacement for Squads. Never was.
