I really want snipers to be back as a playlist! who wishes it was still here?

Me! I would love a lot more variety in Halo 5’s multiplayer. Rotating playlists just don’t do it for me.

The Snipers playlist would definitely be nice to have back.

The balance in FFA is pretty -Yoink- at the minute, but im always on board for team snipers!!

Ranked snipers is returning:

Didn’t they get rid of ranked snipers last time because it lacked interest? I remember that being mentioned in an update or something.

They nerfed aim assist on the sniper and immediately pulled all sniper modes from the game so that nobody could get good with snipers in online play. This wasn’t the official reason but it was really oddly timed considering it was the same time they nerfed the sniper.

Yup. I find it difficult to follow their logic. Looks like they’re making seasonal rotational playlists.

> Lastly, next Thursday Ranked Snipers will be removed from Matchmaking for the upcoming season. This playlist has come and gone a few times over the past months and was just put back in as a Ranked offering prior to the holidays in conjunction with the large playlist “test” to help the sustain team determine usage and popularity. Based on low usage this playlist will be removed to funnel more players back into the core offerings. We know there’s a portion of the community that enjoys a game of Snipers so don’t worry, there’s certainly a good chance we’ll see this playlist again down the road (either as-is or perhaps in a different configuration).

Can they remove the BTB maps? Snipers is just awful on them.

I can’t agree with you more. I think 343 may believe that too many game types will split the community and make finding matches take longer. That’s just an assumption, but it makes sense to me. I do miss playing snipers. I also wish there was a team triples game type.
