I have been a loyal Halo player since day 1 (2001). There is a dedicated community of players who are competitive snipers. Since this playlist removal, we have lost primary interest in this game. Please feed our addiction and add back in the ranked Team Sniper playlist (permanently)!
The ranked Team Snipers playlist is gone because it wasn’t receiving enough interest to provide acceptable matchmaking quality.
If what you seek is primarily Sniper game-play what you have now are the social rotational playlists Shotty Snips and Mythic Shotty Snips. The good news is that I believe the Shotty Snips playlist is considered a “top” featured rotational, so it should appear for two weeks every 2 months or so. I believe the “top” featured rotations are Castle Wars, Shotty Snips, Action Sack, and maybe Anniversary Throwback based on their popularity rankings.

The social shotty snipers just isn’t the same and mythic shotty snipes is horrible. Neither playlist features strict sniper gameplay or a competitive format.
It is hard to believe that they did not have acceptable matchmaking results, when the last season that showcased ranked Team Snipers (spring 2018 season), had more champions and players in the playlist than Breakout, which is still featured each season and the primary gameplay format in Elimination.
It may just be time to hangup the stix and find a new game to play.

Just get rid of Elimination and take it to Social and replace Elimination with Snipers
agree so much… it make a long time we don’t get ranked team snipe…
i play a lot of costom game of sniper and its fun… but i miss team sniper ranked.
halo2 and halo3 have team sniper ranked all the time
I was never a fan of team snipers in any halo. Im not against it being ranked but I dont believe there is much interest in it in general.
I would love to see ranked snipers make a return. It would give me a reason to play ranked again. Shotty snipers just isn’t the same and mythic shotty snipers is a joke

About time to bring the Ranked Snipes back! It has been about 6 months.
It makes no sense to me for them to ever remove a competitive playlist. You called it competitive and people work hard to get better and compete under your playlists and then you just cancel it? Let it be, follow through with what you started. If you want to not have it in the next game fine but don’t stab the competitive players in the back.

This is why I don’t play halo 5 at all. Besides it’s more like COD now than Halo. Classic Halo rocks.
