I really hope 343 brings back halo 3 weapons with some reach weapons and new weapons. I really want the carbine to return if we had a carbine i would not care about a DMR and expecially bring back the beam rifle i dont want that crappy rainbow spitter or the concusion rifle and i also dont want the blueberry shoter brute shot was much better. And most importantly BR AND SMG MUST COME BACK.
Also DONT BRING BACK THE HALO 3 PISTOL.
I’m pretty sure we’re not going to see Covenant weapons, however, Covenant weapons are made from reverse-engineered Forrunner tech, so there’s likely going to be Forrunner equivalents of Covenant weaponry.
There’s gonna be some human weapons that Chief gets from the dawn, and the concept art trailer pretty much confirms that the UNSC are going to be in the game(I’m aware it’s just concept art, but 343 wouldn’t put them in there for no reason. Besides the UNSC is just too important), so there will likely be new UNSC weaponry.
The Elites will probably be somewhere in Halo 5 or 6, since they’re having economic problems on their planet, and they need some time to sort things out.
BTW, the UNSC arsenal from Reach was obliterated and turned to glass. The reason why some of the Reach Covenant weapons weren’t in the first trilogy is because only certain fleets allowed certain weapons. The fleet from Halos 1-3, obviously didn’t support the Needle Rifle, Focus Rifle etc.

I don’t think we will be seeing any or most of the weapons from Halo 3 nor Reach.
Reach’s weapons and technology were loss/destroyed during the Invasion of the planet so we won’t be seeing any of them. While in Halo 3’s case, 343 stated that some weapons would be making a return, while the rest is all new.
I think obviously the BR would be returning but I don’t think the same in this case for the SMG, and other UNSC and Covenant weapons.

If you think the Focus Rifle is a crappy weapon, you aren’t using it right. It is a force to reckon with and can easily take down someone before it overheats.

Possibly, in Glasslands the relationship between the Humans and Sangheili isn’t very… stable.
On the other hand, I don’t think people will be very happy with that, having fought them for four games and all(five if you include Halo Wars), it would get kind of boring.

You do realise that the Concussion Rifle is Halo: Reach’s version of the Brute Shot?
yes but brute shot was more accurate and had longer range.
Every single weapon (and vehicle) from all past installments in the series should return in Forge and Custom Games at least.

LOL, your Focus Rifle is an assist machine. It’s nothing but a water gun, and an awful replacement of the once great Beam Rifle.

Great? The Beam rifle was used in about two places. Snowbound, because the Sniper Rifle wasn’t on the map, and in Team Snipers, for no real reason. There is literally no reason for the Beam Rifle to exist from a gameplay standpoint.
I will rage if the DMR comes back.

Firstly remove the DMR, bring back the old halo 3 pistol, make halo a proper halo game again, not some CoD crap! Oh, remove AA completly
