I’m sure most of us remember the fun times we had in halo reach as well as halo 3 when we played infection game types like Fat Kid, Predators, and Ghostbusters in custom games just to name a few. However it has become literally impossible to even slightly recreate these game types in halo 4 as Infection has been replaced by the Flood game type. Granted this idea was creative and inventive of 343 to do, but the possibilities for innovation on the Players side is now very limited. The infected loadouts cannot be altered in anyway or even be accessed when concerned with the infected weapons and their Armor Abilities. Thanks to this, the immense amount of games and game types alike cannot be recreated in any sense of the word. New game types have been added to games in the past, such as the recent addition of SWAT as well as the Insane game type in halo reach. All I can ask is that hopefully this topic will get enough support behind it and the old infection will be re-released into halo 4. Thank you for your time.
*Edit: I’m not implying that they remove Flood altogether in favor of the old Infection. Having both would be great as well. Just to clarify.

Fat kid - Flood moves slowly and has higher health
Predator - Everyone is flood 1 human has splazer
Ghostbusters - All flood are invisible 1 non infected human with shotgun
All can be remade easily, only that in ghostbusters the ghosts will no longer have Plasma Pistols.

First off no body wants a Fat Kids gametype just a fat kid. Also Alpha zombies revert to normal zombies after being killed once.
The point in predator is that the predator hunts the humans and the humans have a slight chance. The point being is that the Predator cannot be shot at if they were flood giving the flood a high disadvantage in Flood mode.
Ghost Busters had more and more Ghost Busters in it after every human has been killed they become another buster until its a fun little hide and seek game.

I agree, I often find myself going to Halo: Reach just to play Infection, especially Alpha Zombies which I find more fun then Flood, I’d love to see it return.
PS. Bleach is amazing.
There is something missing from Flood that made Infection fun for me. Im not sure 343 is interested in making there game like previous ones.
