In Halo 3, one of my favorite things was getting to be MVP and have everybody see. I think that with the addition of points, this system could become quite a lot more significant than it was in Halo 3, and it was taken out of Reach for some reason.
It was a cool personal achievement to earn. I wouldn’t mind seeing it return. Although if it didn’t, I wouldn’t really care, either.
I remember MVP being so ridiculous. You could go 150-0, cap a flag and essentially win the game single handily. But the guy who capped 2 flags and went 1-50 gets the MVP. Don’t get me wrong I liked MVP. I hope it returns in H4, just makes me laugh at times.

I loved getting MVP and I agree with this. I could be playing living dead double xp and be in first place for the whole game, but it would give MVP to whoever did best that last round. Made me a sad camper. But I would love to see it return in H4

CTF is all about the objective, the person who got more caps should get MVP. As for the living dead MVP that is -Yoink-.

It would be pretty awesome to have it back, however your “one of my favorite things was getting to be MVP and have everybody see.” comment is kinda concerning. It’s cool if you do good and all just don’t be a -Yoink- about it (not saying you are) and I have no problem with the MVP award. As a matter of fact it would be a cool avatar award or something.
I hope it returns, although it was a bit random it was not purely a “good k/d” medal or something easily boosted, neither did it award going to objective to farm cheap kills like a n00b ^^
No, MVP was a good system, it gave honour to those who deserved it most of the time, the ones that did go for the objective or defended it like their own life was on the line, the team players who did what was good for the team, not only their own stats. The once who would run out to grab a power weapon/power up/equipment to prevent the enemies from using it, not the ones who camp a corner afraid of getting killed.

I hated that the Freaking First STrike was a top medal in every game, even if someone else got a perfection it woulnt be in the Top medals… so retarted
