Bring back Mosh Pit (12-Player FFA goodness!)

Mosh Pit is an example of a cool idea that didn’t quite work out. It was utterly chaotic and full of spawn-killing in Halo 3, but with the new Forge tools in Halo 5, it could be improved and made bigger and better than ever… and give us an epic new Social FFA offering for Halo 5’s multiplayer.

What we need are some new maps Forged specifically made for 12-player FFA, to eliminate the spawn-killing the plagued Halo 3’s Mosh Pit and allow for more fun, and less frustration. There should also be vehicles, which haven’t been in FFA since Halo 3’s Rumble Pit and Mosh Pit playlists. I’m thinking Ghosts, Gungooses, and maybe a single Wraith or Mantis depending on the map.

Players would start with Battle Rifles and Assault Rifles, and motion tracker range would be set to 25 meters. I also think all players should have the “Wheelman” armor mod equipped by default so we can have the most fun with the vehicles. I imagine there will be plenty of ordnance to deal with vehicles like SPNKr Rocket Launchers, Spartan Lasers, and a few Plasma Pistols, so why the hell not? The goal is have an awesome FFA arena where players can have fun either on foot or in vehicles without the vehicles being so overpowered to where they are nigh-unstoppable, or so underpowered to the point where there’s no point in using them as it was in Halo 3’s Mosh Pit.
