I have noticed that in halo 5. Killjoy disappeared. I was very disappointed,i loved getting embarresed by losing my killing spree. Am i the only one who misses killjoy?
Do you mean the Killjoy medal? Or the announcer saying “Killjoy?”

Wouldn’t mind the medal coming back. I don’t know why the medal hasn’t returned even though it was in 3 Halo games in a row (3, Reach & 4).
I believe (don’t quote me on this) 343 wanted a more positive experience for players. And being reminded that someone ended your spree was not among that.
I miss the killjoy medal. I find being notified that I ended an enemy’s reign of terror to be a positive experience.

I understand their view somewhat, but a killjoy could also be the start of a good rivalry in a close matchup.
Overall I would like to see the return of Killjoy. One idea is to implement as a medal at carnage report, and not an announced call out.
That way there’s still some win in the compromise for both sides.

I didn’t notice it, but I miss it too! I mean how much is it to ask to get one medal for killing someone who’s spree probably netted them 10+ medals?

Killjoy only notifies the player that ended the other’s spree btw. So where’s the “harm” in that? lol
Yeah I really miss this medal and yoink from Reach. It felt really good to end someone’s spree for some reason and for yoinking It was so fun stealing people’s assassinations in Reach because of that medal
