That would make the most sense for a new game mode, don’t you think? Invasion was pretty much the iconic multiplayer game mode of Halo: Reach, and it was a lot of fun. It would also be pretty interesting to see what kind of Invasion maps the community can create with the new Forge tools. So many new possibilities…

Way I see it, we should be able to use custom colors when playing as Spartans in Invasion, while players on the Elite team would each control an Elite Minor as they appear in Halo 5’s Campaign- since it’s probably too much to hope that 343i will add full-blown Elite customization like in Halo 2, 3, and Reach.

Even Spartan vs. Spartan Invasion would be pretty epic.

I’d love to see invasion added in! It wasn’t something I played a ton of but it’d be a ton of fun to see in this engine.

Not quite. Invasion actually had a tier system so that you would not reach high levels on some where you can spawn annoying and OP vehicles and weapons.

If they do, be sure to include Invasion Slayer. Was easily one of my fav gametypes ever.

Warzone Assault is already a poor mans Invasion as it is. Would be nice to see a Spire remake for Warzone and Assault though, would be a good time to also add a UNSC air vehicle like the hornet or falcon too.

Hoepfully it can replace Warzone Assualt considering they are sort of the same except the Warzone version is terrible.

If they brought back Invasion with elites, then they may as well give us elite slayer also.

Invasion is still my favorite Halo gametype ever. Please bring it back.
