The invavsion playist from reach was really fun. would anyone else like to see it return in halo 4?

I want to play it on halo 4, i’m done with reach. nothing left to do in that game, it was a great game. I hope 343 brings invasion back into halo 4

Most likely, it’s as easy as a couple weeks, edit a gametype, and slap it into a matchmaking playlist. Just give it time, 343 just got done making a game of the year. SWAT wasn’t in there, and they added that. What makes you think they won’t put in other playlists?
Invasion was ok, but the elites never had the upperhand because their weapons sucked massive -Yoink-. I was never too into Invasion.
They can’t add a gamemode that’s not a variant really. Maybe a really complex domion but then there would have to be maps for it.
I don’t see why they cant add elites into the playist, you didn’t get to play as an elite in halo reach campaign and they still had it in the matchmaking. I’m down for team snipes being brought back too.
They can’t add Elites as playable characters in multiplayer because with the new Infinity War Games story. Believe it or not, but War Games actually is part of the storyline. Used by Spartans for training. I don’t think the UNSC would let them play as an Elites. 343 kind of screwed themselves over with that one. Either way, you can have Invasion without the Elites. Just have it Spartan v. Spartan.
Even with just Spartans it could still be really fun, although I would liek to see different loadout choices based on offense and defense.

Good point, maybe later on they could add Elites, but it would have to be in a hell of a big Title Update though.
You don’t need Elites to make Invasion play. At its core the game is simply Territories+Territories/Assault+CTF all wrapped into one match. The Elites were just there to give it a story like feel since Reach was about a planet being Invaded by Elites (and other Covenant).
But to answer your question, yes I would love to see it return.
yeah I understand that but invasion was special because of the separate weapons the elites and humans got, the elites would get a banshee and focus rifals/fuel rods on invasion slayer and carry a plasma pistol and humans had scopes, tanks and wart hogs. in invasion slayer of course. and in regular invasion the needle rifals vs dmrs and plasma pistols vs magnums was pretty cool too, plus evade and the special armor abilities.
