In Halo Infinite, we know that Cortana isn’t evil, but instead of John dying, could he just tell his girlfriend to go home, because she’s drunk? What I’m saying is H5 sucked because of bad story, and your writer completely ruined Cortana. I mean, I’m all for her putting some clothes on, but the story errors still stand, and in Halo Infinite, I am hoping that Cortana comes back.

Judging by the trailers, Infinite’s plot probably revolves around finding/fixing Cortana.
BTW Cortana should be free to go nude if she chooses. She is a strong, independent AI and shouldn’t be held back by what society thinks.

Despite your odd explanation, I do hope they do something good with her. Also, I think her classic look would suit her best, given that her wearing body armour, suddenly, made very little sense, and seems entirely forced. Though, most of Halo 5’s story was forced, so, not much new there.

Since Cortana is now essentially enforcing an imperialist rule over the galaxy, I think it makes sense that she’d choose a look more fitting for an imperial leader. It’s not easy to take a nude female avatar seriously.

She chose her original appearance, Smart AI and their appearances are talked about more in the original books and I think it talked about why she chose “nude” IIRC

It seemed anticlimactic, being that she died in H4, and that scene made me cry, turns out that scene doesn’t even matter, because she’s back in H5.

Yeah, it kinda ruined her forever. I don’t think bringing her back as a companion would make it any better. Her limited life span was part of the vulnerability of the character, and now they’ve already done that story, so she’d effectively just be perfect and immortal, presumably while whitewashing all the people she killed.
It’d be cheap fanservice.
