Because Shinobi isn’t really better than Hayabusa.
YASSSSSS.
HAAAAYYYYY-abüsah!
It’s impossible unless 343 and Microsoft had a deal with Tecmo (Ninja Gaiden).
The only reason Bungie was able to make the Hayabusa armor was because they had a deal with Tecmo where Tecmo used a model Master Chief in one of their games and Bungie designed Spartan armor after Ninja Gaiden’s main character, Ryu Hayabusa.
I really do not know how many times this needs to be said for people to understand. It’s literally a legal issue.

I never realized it was based off of Ninja Gaiden. Well that sucks. It’d still be cool if they could strike a deal with whomever has the rights, to bring Hayabusa back.
The Hayabusa became the noob armor pretty quick though it was like a noob trademark

Oh HAAAAYYY-abüsah! Its just not what you’re use-ta! Goodbyyyyye ya loosa, I’m just too cool for you!
Lol I think I mentioned this in the cqb thread.
Is Hayabusa even canon?

It had some sort of explanation. IIRC, it was developed at the same time as the MJLNOR, but as a different platform, and was then adapted to work with it?

The Hayabusa is a powered battle armor system, similar to the MJOLNIR Armor, except stemming from Project HAYABUSA as opposed to Project MJOLNIR. It was developed by RKD, an Earth-based “think-tank” in the year2536, six years before the MJOLNIR Mark V first entered production. It was presented to the UNSC Ordnance Committee as an answer to the self-contained powered armor problem. Advanced materials are used in the production of the Hayabusa armor reducing the weight of the current generation armor by nearly a third at that time.
Oh hayabusa baby, won’t you come home to me.
legal issues aside, it’s fun to think of the armor as a more polished version in halo 5. I miss those shoulders the most!
Unfortunately we will never get it again, and I am surprised they were able to put it in the MCC (not a lawyer, but 343 did release a game with ninja gaiden’s content, but I am not well versed in copyright law, but the master chef collection is a different product than halo 3.)
Maybe they could make a different variation on it and name it something different, like Ronin to complement Shinobi
haha what bro the shinobi armor just doesn’t do it for you?
I’d rather see the Halo 3 Rogue brought back, instead of the re-imagining we have now.

And that gave us the issue with Nicole-458 and the Second Class Spartan-II’s. Sure, her events in Dead or Alive are not canon but her character is…
