Sorry OP but this just isn’t possible any more. Halo 2 for Xbox was built and ran to work with the original Xbox Live service which was shut down a few years ago now. As those servers are no longer available and have likely been decommissioned by now, Halo 2 and any other games that used those server will no longer be playable online.
