I find that the customization in infinite is terrible, unlocking a piece that’s only usable for certain armor sets is trash. Should be able to use pieces you unlock for any armor sets. Etc…

I have been thinking the same thing. I’m not saying Reach was the greatest game in the Halo franchise but Bungie did do the armor customization right. I don’t like how you can only customize the Spartan armor with what’s allowed on that one core only. When they said it was “Fully customizable” ((I was under the impression at least)) that the any armor piece could be swapped out and put on your Spartan.
The ability to put a Mark IV helmet on your Mark VII chest piece with Mark VI legs and arms or something like that is what I had in mind when they said “customizable”. I’m not saying that the armor isn’t good, just I think 343 should let the players have the opportunity to customize their Spartan how they want and not be limited in what pieces can go where. Since they are all for “free expression” now a days thought that would of been a given. Don’t get me started on the Body types… that’s another disaster story lol.

1000% agree! In fact bring back all the reach armor as well. Halo reach is where I finally felt my Spartan was truly my own and sadly with this preset color system and lack of unique Spartan builds it’s feeling pretty bland.

I hope they address this at some point, I know it’s not just three people who feel this way. You can’t advertise “free expression” and “Complete Customization” and limit people weeks before launch. That’s a slow bleedout if you ask me.
