Okay so today I played some H4 Team Snipers, BTB and 4v4 Slayer…
every game I played was with Americans!!! I have nothing against them just I don’t want to be teleporting all over the place… Im sick of playing Laggy games.
Its not like im searching at 4am or something… Its 12:44PM Aussie people should be on but this game is determined to place me in foreign LOBBYS!!!

I dont know why you people are whining about. I’m American (yes :P) and I play daily with my Swedish friend and we have no lag at all. I’ve actually rarely experience any lag. Maybe you just have terrible internet?
Well I’m always getting matched up with people from Mexico, nothing against them, lag is just annoying. I feel you dude…

Americans can play with Americans but Australians cant play with -Yoinking!- Australians… I have pretty decent internet ADSL 2+ but even if I didn’t why would the game force me to play with people from other country’s??
There is already a topic about this with 71 pages of replies and a poll which shows we need good connection.

I’m an American and i agree with this, it should not be grouping you with distant connection’s.It does it to me as well and i know exactly what your talking about.Its seriously ruining the game, and that’s as a American in peak times.I can only imagine how bad it is for you.I hope they do bring it back because i too am tired of lagging like crazy because of bad connection testing.It may not happen as often as it does to non-americans because of higher American population, but my argument is that i’m paying for a better service.Me and everyone else should get there money’s worth.343 is part of microsoft so why the hell do we not have dedicated servers, Halo is supposed to represent the Xbox for crying out loud.
This host selection problem also causes people to quit games, which is a severe downside.Hopefully this issue gets resolved quickly, that’s all i gotta say about it.

seems every game i play is with a bunch of little kids from some 3rd world country with 0.000000003 mbps download, AND THEY PULL HOST??! WTF H4? why do i have to play on their bad connection, if everyone could play on my good connection? how does the server decide

so hard to play with good teamwork when i get placed in a group of guys speaking spanish…i only know how to say cheese,cat, and pants in spanish 
i guess its good if i ever need cheesy cat pants…
If you are american you won’t have the problem, this is because american connections are prioritized for whatever ungodly reason.

Yeah I hate connecting with Australians/New Zealanders and their cheesy 3rd world internet. I wish the “good connection” option would come back too.
I Live in Australia and play with 2 Americans and get no lag at all.
As much as I despised Reach, I had to give it to Bungie for making a pretty good lag-free experience.

I do agree though, we need this implemented in. We should fallow through and push this more. Matchmaking would undoubtably be more enjoyable.
