First off, I don’t know if this topic has been brought up before already. Due to the lack of a feature to search the forums I’m not really willing to click page after page to make sure anyway. If there is a search option that actually works though, please point me in the right direction. So, on to business…
Bring back Firefight Doubles! Please…
The moment the latest playlist update hit, myself and several of my friends who play Halo Reach consistently were disappointed when we discovered that all the Firefight playlist options were gone and replaced. Yes, I am aware that Firefight isn’t the most popular of playlist options, but for those of us who are casual gamers, who are not combat proficient in PvP matches, some of us wish to see a return of Firefight Doubles. I emphasize this because to put it simply, I’m getting sick of being placed with two extra players in a game and having to deal with them stealing a majority of the kills and on some occasions just being -Yoinks!-. In Firefight Doubles, I could choose any of my friends to play a game with and we’d be able to play it at our own pace and by our own rules, completing given challenges of the day and having a good time.
Sure, you can give me some kind of rebuttal that says to the effect ‘Why not just play with three of your friends then?’ Well, my answer to that is that the majority of the time that I’m online (or some of my friends for that matter) we don’t always find that enough of us are online to play a four player firefight game together, or some of us are busy doing/playing something else.
That said, I don’t know if I am posting this in the correct forum and if I have not followed some ‘code of conduct’ by some means then I apologize. I am not angry about the playlist update, just frustrated with this one change that was made. I wish to see Firefight Doubles return if at all possible and if anyone else agrees then your support is welcome. Thanks.
