Bring back firefight as dlc PLEASE 343!!!

Spartan ops looks fantastic but I fear it will not have the same replayability as firefight, I sunk hours into firefight on reach, both solo and co-op, it really should be included aswell as spartan ops. Firefight was great because it had so many variables, 343 PLEASE add it at a later date as dlc…

i agree

I enjoyed Firefight a lot, but there weren’t that many variables… same waves. same spawn points. If they did bring it back. I’d hope they’d change it up a bit.

I personally disagree, i found no replay value in firefight. It got boring really quickly. If there was, i wouldn’t get it.

Simpler solution; have Firefight wave based missions. It doesn’t require a massive patch and totally feasible with the 50 episodes we are getting.

I rather not get to ahead and say bring back Firefight Arcade ;/ I personally enjoyed it in Reach but that’s where it needs to stay IMO. Spartan Ops is aiming to be much more ambitious than 2x overshields, and power weapons on spawn.

In ODST it did. Reach’s FF was predictable and repetitive.

How about instead we ask 343i to update Firefight for Reach? What could having Firefight in Halo 4 add that we couldn’t have in Reach?

agreed, firefight was boring - it meant nothing. DO NOT BRING FIREFIGHT BACK.

i had fun with reach as a whole. but i can honestly say the only reason i ever played FF was to comeplete challenges.
i didnt feel a need to get better at killing campaign enemies. i wanted to get better at MM.

I lost interest in Firefight after a little while - didn’t feel I got rewarded for playing it and it just wasn’t captivating. If Spartan Ops is well supported, rewarding and playable offline then I see no need for Firefight to return.

I personally disagree, don’t get me wrong I love Firefight in ODST.

But in Reach it was a territory for AFKers.

ODST firefight was way better than reach’s. IMO firefight shouldn’t come back, spartan ops is the way to go :D, they can add like wave after wave type missions where they have to defend a area for a while.

What about the people that don’t have online? They don’t get spartan ops so all they have is campaign and custom games.

Agree with the people above, ODST’s version was by far the best. Reach’s FF was very boring a AFK paradise.

good point!

This. ODST’s felt way more challenging to me, especially when Brute Chieftains chase you down and you can’t sprint or jetpack away.

I personally loved playing firefight limited especially in ODST where so many things could happen i had wished ODST had matchmaking with firefight and Reach gave us that. I hated firefight arcade because it was as easy as getting a kill with a nuke tube in COD (which i have long since stopped playing.)Arcade was no fun and was really just a way to farm credits. Limited was a lto fo fun because it was how firefight should be-“SURVIVAL MODE!” I don’t understand why they took out drones in Reach’s firefight though,i enjoyed fighting them in ODST. i for one think they should bring back firefight in Halo 4 as a DLC or at least in Halo 5. i do enjoy spartan ops a lot but it feels like campaign, after beating it, getting a few achievements, where’s the fun then? it’s mroe of a one time thing or just something that you are forced to play to complete challenges. its a heck of a lot of fun the first couple times around but ti gets old. i also did not like how spartan ops matchmaking was limited to the latest episode i wouldnt mind replaying it with people if i could choose which episode and chapter to play.
