I miss FFA. Sometimes im not feeling slayer, swat, arena or warzone. If i wanna play FFA i gotta put faith in the customs browser with an open lobby and sit around myself waiting for people to join. Most people leave after the first game anyway you’re back at square 1. Drop Mythic that playlist sucks and the maps are even worse. Bring back FFA plz, even as an unranked playlist.
I agree. FFA should be brought back at least as a social playlist. I think if it was social the population might be higher.
Yeah Im tired of the mythic playlists they keep rotating instead of ffa, nobody wants it.
I miss FFA alot. As much as I enjoy Slayer, I was always an FFA kid. Sadly, the population was extremely low and finding games was a challenge. Hoping it returns as a social playlist with Free for all snipers as a gametype, though unlikely. A man can dream.
I 100% agree. When regular FFA was replaced with Mythic Rumble, I was okay with it as I thought FFA would return when Mythic Rumble rotated out.
I am extremely disappointed to see it was not re-added.
Given how 343i is consolidating playlists due to dropping player population, I see removing FFA as a serious mistake. With only team games (except Infection I suppose) present, matchmaking times will only increase, as each team must find an equal amount of players before the game can begin. With FFA, if it takes too long to find 6 players, starting a match with 5 or even 4 players is not a huge loss.
I very much hope to see it return to Halo 5: Guardians before Halo Infinite is released.

They have rumble pit in mcc. I search H2A with all game types except swat and usually find games. If matchmaking is slow I add H2 then HCE, then H3. Come on over to MCC for some good FFA.
I miss FFA. I couldn’t ever find a game of FFA in Halo 5 so I switched to MCC. When Mythic Rumble came out I played it three times. All three times were on the same map so I stopped playing and went back to MCC. Now Mythic Rumble is gone and there is no FFA outside of customs. I have played FFA in custom but it is always on weird maps with 8-12 people in the lobby. I returned to MCC only to either not find any games or have many people quit.
Why do they remove ANY playlist that’s ever existed? FFA obv should ALWAYS be an option, but hell even those weird playlists like “Sword Joust” or Community Slayer, etc, I want options -Yoink!- this is America
I used to think ffa was a Playlist that improved gameplay… I spent a lot of time on the Playlist and I think it has not had the results I was looking for bc I’ve been unsuccessfully working on scaling back my deaths and… I’m a bit too much of a ‘run and gun’ player.
I’m not blaming ffa… But I’m at the point where I want to be more strategic and really fine tune my gameplay bc it would be nice to play with friends and feel like I’m making the team better and not just getting ‘top gun’ medals and losses.
I hope this is constructive and want to leave off by saying that 343 definitely has made it rotational for a reason and though it does not necessarily mean that it is rotational for the reasons I previously mentioned, I do think now is the time for posting needs and not wants.
Yeah I really wish they would bring back ffa. I have no clue why they would take it off the playlist, especially for this long. No one uses mics in arena anymore so I usually only play ffa.
Long time lone wolf player here, would love for FFA to make a comeback.
I might actually hop back on Hall 5 if they were to bring back FFA. Very enjoyable mode.
