I personally love that days of Halo 2 and Halo 2 Anniversary as I think the dual wield capability is just unreal! I would love to see this come back. Imagine having two different SMG’s variant together and being able to do that with brute plasma rifles too I think 343 would benefit greatly from this. Would anyone agree?
Only if said dual-wieldable weapons were restricted to dual-wielding only, partly like Call of Duty.
Campaign yes, multiplayer no.
No. It would completely throw off the balance of gameplay, imagine somebody running around with two CE magnums, or dual Void’s Tear. It would destroy weapon balance.
However, if it were used for custom games only, it would be fine.
As much as I used to love using Double Needlers (lethal), dual wielding being removed from the game has made it better. Every weapon now is useful, unlike in the old days when you couldnt do anything with one pistol. In H5 any weapon can kill if used appropriately, which is not the case in earlier Halos.

The duel wielding broken logic thought process is: “I’m using two guns so it has to do double damage and makes you twice as accurate!”
Dual Wielding is a complete sandbox nightmare.
Either you have a weapon that is good by itself, or overpowered with two of them, or you have a weapon that is good with two of them, but useless by itself.

For warzone only then yes. Lol however dual wielding needlers was removed in Halo 3. If dual wielding was made possible for warzone, players should have a higher recoil and less accuracy and smart scope should be turned off. However a good benefit should be that dual wielding does not drop when you switch weapons. Only when you melee the weapon will drop, and of course double the damage. It should also be an armor mod since having movement speed boost mod + dual wielding would be insane.
If Bungie had left the HCE AR in H2 then duel wielding would only of been a last ditch act of desperation and the BR might not have gone on to dominate the last decade of Halo.
The dual wielding doesn’t have to do double damage. It could just do 120% damage or something instead.

I would agree with this, it might be interesting in Warzone. To be honest I really don’t personally miss dual wielding. For the people who do, adding it to Warzone wouldn’t be a bad option and I like the way KnightxBarbatos suggests to implement it.
