Halo is awesome because of how it can be such a competitive game in one playlist and completely ridiculous in another. I feel like Reach missed a beat by not having double credit weekend hoppers. I was a huge fan of double exp on Halo 3 and would like to see it make a return in Halo 4.
It would be awesome to be able to have a special playlist every weekend again and would encourage more people to hop on and get playing on the weekends.

There are “Jackpots” in Reach, but they’re not certain, same idea though kind of. BTW I agree that they should be in H4 and they probably will later on down the road.
yes there are return of jackpots every weekend but only affecting a certain amount of people but the real reason they could not bring back double xp is because of the credit cap so many people would reach it and double xp wouldn’t matter at that point.
Jackpots are a joke and complete casual crap. They are luck based, which is a cancerous thing. Whereas you had to win to get your double exp.
If you prefer things like credits and jackpots, go play CoD or Halo Reach.
I would really want to see the double EXP thing back. They should do it on the weekend.

Doesn’t double EXP only work with Halo 3’s system? The fact that you levelled up so slowly made double EXP so worth while and fun.
Now that dont earn just 1 EXP a game, it doesn’t really make that much of a difference any more.
I’d understand a double Spartan Points weekend though, that would be good.

Well the actual bonus isn’t even important. I like the idea of having special one off weekend only playlists.
Like they could hold competitions too like the Valentines Doubles playlist or the US Tourney FFA thing. Even if it isn’t ranked there could be giveaways or credit bonuses etc.

Yeah the point is just having weekend only playlists, but yeah we know you can level up your spartan so it could just provide a 2x boost for that <3.

It could be like Cod’s double exp but in one special playlist. Basically just double the normal exp that you would normally get for everything. Or they could do it for all playlists but add that special playlist for the weekend.
Yeah either of those ideas would be fine by me.
I’m not even bothered about the double exp part, just the special p[laylists really.
