Halo infinite is in a great state. But there’s a stale taste in my mouth. Skins, they don’t belong in halo. Now I’ll admit the coatings aren’t a terrible idea. But the colors are ugly. I think an easy solution would be to keep coatings, but have a customize option. Where you can choose a primary secondary and tertiary color for the coatings. 343 has made a big emphasis on customization this time around. But it feels silly for them to not do colors this way. If they make this change the amount of custom Spartans would truly be infinite and not locked behind a battlepass and store.

They could do both. Allow us to create our own coatings using standard colours. That still leaves room for selling premium coatings.

YES. IVE SCREAMED THIS. Take a page from Warframes book and sell pallets. This is the best way to promote player expression. Imagine a pallet alley focused on Sanghelios colors. Or oni grey’s and blacks. Reach sunrise.
Zeta Wilds. This pallets should have attached textures that would be exclusive to this. Like reach has the camo, and oni has Matte. Sanghelios has gloss. Zeta has chrome/dirt.
If would love to see a filthy samurai. A chrome M7. Hell imagine a Gears Cross over with Oni Colors. It’s coming. With Kat and Emile featured in G5… Anyways, custom colors need to return… Especially since they took away emblem creation
