I’m not sure why they removed custom challenges? If they cared so much they could ban/reset people? dont just take it all away and ruin it for everyone. that is awful. no wonder people say cod is better because treyarch and infinity ward care about their games. smh
They’re moving their focus to Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5: Guardians.
Imagine if for some reason Custom Challenges stopped working some day and this was right after the MCC launch. It could literally go unfixed for months, or not at all. Just take a look at the glitched achievements for Halo 4. The team who would normally work on that stuff moved on months ago and didn’t fix the issue for THIRTEEN months.

It’s not a question of bad behavior or abusing the system. It comes down to business decisions. Is the cost of supporting custom Reach challenges justified by greater revenue for 343 Industries? If custom Reach challenges are disabled, will it negatively impact 343’s revenue? Apparently the 343 business managers decided no on both questions and that’s that.
For my part, I’m disappointed custom challenges are gone but I don’t expect them to ever come back.
