Bring back CQB armor from Halo 3.

I’m just putting this out there. People have been asking for this since Halo 4. I rocked the CQB helmet all throughout 8,900 games of Halo 3 and 6,800 games of Halo: Reach… broke my heart when they didn’t give us so much as the helmet in Halo 4.

Also, no legal BS to deal with Team Ninja or Ninja Gaiden, or what have you, as with the scourge of Halo 3 multiplayer that was Hayabusa. Unlike that pseudo-samurai getup, CQB is 100% original to Halo, property of Microsoft. There shouldn’t be anything stopping them from adding it to Halo 5…

And yet, they try to force us to accept Dynast armor as a replacement. Not buying it, 343i. Give us the real deal.

I loved CQB and the fact that it isn’t in Halo 4 and 5 makes me sad… I rocked that Helmet throughout Reach.

Really liked the look of the CQB helmet in halo reach and 3, pity it wasn’t in 4 and isn’t in 5. #Bring back CQB.

I loved the Reach version of the helmet. Tell… which one do you prefer? The base helmet as it was in Halo 3, or with the various attachments you could give it in Halo: Reach?

I for one preferred the Halo: Reach version with the HU/RS/CNM attachment; the one that add the little camera and flashlight to the sides of the helmet. Not a fan of the UA/HUL variant though, because that armor plate covers up the ridges and just makes the helmet look fatter and ugly.

They could, I guess, but from canon it doesn’t really make sense.
It’s design is for Close Quarters Battles, as we get from the name) but suits like Venator are already hyper lethal and hyper mobile in CQB situations. Permetuating a whole new suit for the same purpose some armors already serve makes little sense to me.

But if we scrap canon, sure, it’ll look cool.

I liked the UA/HUL Variant the best since it shows that you completed the Campaign on Legendary Solo like a True Spartan.

Hell yeah! CQB was one of my 3 preferred helmets that I’d occasionally switch to if I wanted to use something other than Mark V or ODST.
