Is anyone else bummed Halo 5 does not have a couch multiplayer feature?
I love the game so far which is why I would like to share the experience with others, personally.
It feels like the developers are trying new things which is great but it feels like it’s with the parental attitude of “We know what’s best.”
I have a lot of couches and would love to have peeps in them participating instead of watching one guy play.
Yes, more than bummed. This truly makes me not want to purchase another Halo or at the very least anything from 343 studios. Split Screen multiplayer has been part of every Halo experience and one of the aspects that has always set it apart from other first person shooters. My friend and I have defeated every Halo on legendary co op and were geared up to start the journey split screen on Halo 5 only to discover we could not play. Our dissappointment was high. just inexcusable to take away what has been a part of every Halo excluding spartan assault. This did to the Halo brand in my eyes what Terminator Genysis did to the terminator franchise.
And to clarify, my friend in I are 31 and played the original Halo when it came out, and have continued the tradition of defeating every Halo on split screen legendary, Halo 5 ruined what amounts to a decade of Halo tradition, and I am certain their are many others out there whom have made it a tradition to defeat Halo on split screen with friends. What was Microsoft and 343 thinking taking this away?
To Microsoft, around 26,000 gamer points, I expect your flagship game to keep one of its strongest features, split screen co op.
