Man, I enjoyed the Forge maps in Team Doubles a lot more than the crappy maps 343 made which are now in again… I only like Overgrowth out of them all.
Forge maps please! And while you’re at it, add more.
I also don’t get it… Why not just keep the community maps in as well? The more maps, the more variety! >_>
The dev maps are crap for doubles. They arent designed for it. We should be on maps designed for them IE the Community maps
343 are a joke when it comes to running playlists
There are still forge maps there, just few and far between. I don’t get it. First people -Yoink- about too many forge BTB maps and now people are -Yoinking!- about not enough Doubles Forge maps. You should be able to play any game mode on whatever map you want as long as you have enough players. Map size for the dev maps isnt much of an issue.

I never complained about that. I never play BTB anyway. Why? Well… Honestly because of the Forge maps. The bigger the map, the uglier it looks since you can’t put much detail within it.
Doubles maps aren’t that big, so these can have some nice detail and visuals. And I haven’t come across any Forge map in Doubles anymore.
I think they’re adding in some of the community maps at some point… it said that on an update a while back.
Some of those community maps were great, but some of them were rubbish. Hope they put the good ones on.

I guess you don’t understand how those are completely different scenarios. The problem here is that all of 343s “Arena” maps scale horribly for everything but 4v4 . If that was not the case, then it wouldn’t be an issue. I don’t want maps in the playlist SOLELY because 343 made them. I want 343 to make GOOD maps for it. If they are crap for the game type (as is the case for basically all of them), they should be removed.
BTB getting shafted in favor of Warzone for development time and 343’s 4v4 Arena maps playing like hot trash in doubles are not equivalent problems.
As a solo player I’m hoping that ranked doubles will have less quitters. I hope they add all the good forge maps into the rotation soon, some were really fun to play.
