343i has changed the overall look of our beloved ODST helmet. With all the additions to Halo 5 and classic items, why not bring back the classic true ODST helmet? And yes, I know Nightfall and Helljumper exist but they do not give the actual helmet true justice.
Yeah. They should do this. I loved the ODST gear.
Helljumper and Nightfall, while they’re cool (the latter to a lesser extent), it doesn’t feel the same as the classic ODST helmet.
This, alongside Rogue GEN1 from Halo 3 needs to return.

I throw my support in, I cannot stand by while other Reach helmets are added, but not our beloved ODST! Helljumper is good and all, but nothing beats the classic!
If not in Halo 5, then #ODSTfor6 or ODSTfor5
Yeah it would be cool if they had an OG ODST helmet as a reward for doing somehthing in Halo MCC ODST.

Why I like Nightfall a lot (I use it over stuff like wrath and mark V) I can agree that it’s not the ODST helmet. H3 ODST is one of my favorite Halo games and I hope for Halo 6 they will have a classic version of the ODST helm.
PS Helljumper is way to bulky and I think it looks more fit for a spartan than an ODST.

Well Helljumper is kinda designed for a spartan haha.
It has to be able to act as a pressure lock, operate the Mjlonir energy shields and generally be WAAY more durable than your standard ODST helmet as Spartans fight differently and also go up against the harder targets.

Nightfall imo looks off with its dimensions and sizes, makes the head look it was made for an oversized frog but it does try and emulate the ODST ‘look’.
If the dimensions were right it would be closer to ODST than the Helljumper variants.

Sorry for not being clear but I said that cause most people have played the campaign so I was basically making fun or people who say Helljumper is Halo 5’s ODST armor set even though its made for SPARTAN Buck.

Halo 3 ideally, especially H3 ODST with the Rookie’s helm. Reach is fine too. Halo 2’s is more similar to air assualt.

Not so; to me “classic” means the very first. Halo 3’s would be more “iconic”, as we saw more of it.
Well, you do have a valid point. Iconic is what it is then, but I can still consider it classic nonetheless for it was years ago during Bungie’s era
