Dear 343 I hate you all. Why would you think that taking away the CE 4v4s play list would be a good idea? Seriously. I was half-heartedly hoping 343 really did give up on updating this game, if only for the fact that I could play 4v4 with friends on the same box. It is the sole reason I bought this game.
I knew they had mentioned this to be a “temporary” playlist despite it needing to be PERMANENT, but after it being up for so long I too was hoping it was going to stay and just when that thought crept up it was gone.
Hopefully, they bring it back permanently soon. It was the sole reason for playing MCC for me and many others I know.
Probably won’t come back. Just like Team Objective which was there for only 1 month. There’s 15 slayer playlists not one dedicated objective. They really know how to screw up Halo.

Geez, that long between playlist updates? I guess it makes sense, I was surprised the 4v4 playlist was up for so long (secretly crossing my fingers that they gave up on the game and it became de facto permanent).

I just wish that 343 would just put the Halo: CE 2v2 into Team doubles and have infection and the Halo: CE 4v4 playlist at the same time. Heck, I wonder why Halo: CE is a 2v2 ranked playlist sitting outside of team doubles.
As someone who got the MCC after 4v4 was removed, I can completely vouch for this. Getting introduced to CE’s multi-player on 2v2 was like playing football for the first time with Lionel Messi.

I can attest to this. The skill gap is vast, and it seems like I’m either potato digging or getting my -Yoink- handed to me. 2v2 is good for when I want a challenge, but having a bad teammate, a quitter/connection drop, or any other small factor is exacerbated because of the small team size. With 4v4 you can absorb the blows better, and spread out the damage. You can actually win man-down. Not to mention playing with multiple friends. Unranked 4v4 playlist on top of a ranked 2v2 playlist would just be ideal.

100% agree. Playing 1v2 on Derelict, Hang 'em High, or Prisoner is just asking for your day to get ruined. Other than playing this 2v2 on MCC I NEVER experienced playing that way. It would always be system linked 4v4 or 8v8 and the only time that I could honestly get upset is when my friend kills me with his 40ft shotgun. All I do now with my friends is play team slayer and vote CE, hoping that it gets majority.
