It was actually a lot of fun poppin player headshots and see confetti flying everywhere. Armor effects could have added more to the req pool and could have made more $$ for 343 and MS. Not a very smart business move by leaving them out.
Id rather have a return of the all black undersuits and armor that actually looks like it belongs in Halo first.
I’d like to use the grunt birthday party effect in custom games and it should appear when the grunt mech is destroyed in Firefight.
I do miss armor effects and have more ideas. I also just thought of one for the Grunt Mecha, and I’m sure you’d guess what. A giant explosion of Confetti bursting out from the Mecha’s death.

I know Halo 5 has the most number of armor and helmets from any other Halo game… and the only ones I’ll actually use are ones from past Halo’s. Some of the new armor have really really really bad ugly looking designs.
