I loved the classic playlist. I think it needs to be added in Social either as part of Skirmish or Action Sack. BUT they should replace the CE pistol with the H2 BR. I loved the maps. Loved the game play , but love the H2 BR play more. its a little slower than the CE pistol play, so I think it would be as popular or more popular than the prior Classic playlist.
Ive wanted a classic playlist with CE 2 and 3 maps in the rotation. But I’d keep the weapons true to the game (as much as I like the H2 BR, especially on Hang’Em High)

I also love the CE pistol. But I’m sure lots of people don’t because it makes the gameplay so fast. So I’m hoping that by asking the H2 BR instead I can get more people in support of my suggestion.
How about a new playlist which is an H2 throwback with H2 remake maps?

I understand what you’re saying but doing that will bring out the hardcore nostalgists to complain. I guess you could do a CE, H2 and H3 weapons lineup and just mix them between all the maps in rotation regardless of the original game

I had considered that as well. Excellent suggestion!
I could definitely get behind this. I have a suggestion to further your idea however, you know how SWAT has just one playlist but various different versions? Such as DMR SWAT, Swatnums etc (didn’t they also add a CE pistol variant?), well they could do the same thing with classic. Have a separate classic playlist that has the CE pistol variant that we’re already familiar with, but also a Halo 2 BR gametype etc. I think that would be much better, and also it keeps non Halo 5 starting weapons out of a regular Halo 5 playlist which I would personally prefer.

I saw a guy on Twitch in the last day or two playing Swat and Swat had at least one version using the H2 BR that was in rotation. To your point, It would be very cool to also add a variation with the CE pistol as well.
