I could care less about damnation and hang em high. but i couldnt agree more about separating the 2 modes
Hang em High was just a snipefest, but on the note for the gametypes, my dad hates the merge but I honestly think it really isn’t so bad, the merge potentially combines population as well as keeping things fresh as games go on, and since weapons are all random anyway, it kinda makes sense
The consolidation helps with the population for those modes which in turn should improve the chances of balanced teams and better connections, so I’m down with them being combined. I mean, it’s all still Arena 5v5 Super Fiesta. Sometimes you’re trying to slay in order to score flags, other times you’re only focused on the slaying to win. In other words, I can appreciate how it remains a singularly themed social playlist. It just has a mix of two modes with likely improved matchmaking.

yep. random weapons are awesome [everybody loves weapons] — but random game types are not [not every player loves every game type]. like, i love the souped up team slayer of super fiesta, but i hate the “everybody unload your weapons at the bottleneck on this dumb little map” of husky raid. so, one of my favorite playlists has been ruined. really hoping they revert to normal super fiesta.
While I would love for these modes to be separated so that I could play Husky Raid exclusively, I see why 343 did it. Combining the two playlists makes less playlists and I haven’t seen or heard of any matchmaking problems which means the populations are high.

Did you have problems finding a game in either husky raid or super fiesta prior to the playlists being combined?

Not husky raid, but I did in super fiesta. I don’t play social often though.

Real late to the game here but agree 100%! The map selection is getting worse. No more Damnation, Hang Em High, Rat Race, (hardly any chill out).
