I dunno about the rest of the community, but there was something… Epic about 1st person passenger view while on a warthog. In halo CE, seeing stuff blow up around you in a plume of fire, making crazy jumps, all while shouting at the top of your lungs spraying and praying with your 60 round clip assault rifle at the flood in the eyes of your spartan (or in the case described above, a second master chief) really got me “in the moment” and was one of the more memorable moments for me in halo.
Anyone with me when I say put 1st person passenger back into halo? Halo 2,3 and reach had 3rd person passenger view, and really killed the spirit for me.
