Brilliant job 343i

Came on here and thought I would see threads full of praise (since 343i deserve it, from the video Halo 4 looks astonishing), when in fact there’s quite a few that just pinpoint the “negative”.

The MLG Forums have much more praise for 343 than this place… lol.

I agrree, I think 343 is doing an Amazing Job after what I saw…

I’d much rather be playing Halo 4 than Reach right now anyway

It certainly looks 1000x better than Reach.

Also, I’ve also seen a lot of ignorance about the “Perk Progression” system. This is nothing like what you seein Call of Duty.

U4ix: If “perk progression” is in game I’ll be extremely happy.
Basically the better you play, the more opportunities or options you have for perks.
It’d be the closest thing to a Shadowrun “buy menu” set in the Halo atmosphere.
What I hope “perk progression” doesn’t mean is you only get certain perks after gaining or reaching a certain level, much like CoD, where the player level and prestige only correlates to time played and not player skill.

A little more info about the balance of the system

I think 343 is doing just an overall great job with Halo 4. But there are still some things I don’t want to see put in the game. AA’s, perks, custom loadouts, bloom mechanic, sprinting, etc… I would like to see Halo go back to its raw and pure gameplay roots, like Halo 1, 2, & 3.

Edit: I should reiterate, Halo 4 looks awesome, and even if some of the things I mentioned above that I DON’T want are implemented, I’ll probably still thoroughly enjoy the game

I agree. I actually don’t mind sprint but keep AL far, far away from Halo 4.

The BTS was extremely enjoyable. And 343 REALLY WASN’T KIDDING when they said this was the best looking Halo game. IT IS.

AA’s are here to stay get over it they’re great !!!

We only saw sprint and the HUD showed no indication of a AA slot anywhere. Looks like SPRINT is here to stay so far at least.
