Brilliant Forge idea! Physics shifting!

Essentially, what this would be is the ability to set a timer that would start at the beginning of the game and it would change the way an item’s physics are acting in the middle of a game.

Here’s an example of how it could be applied.

Remake the amazing Warthog run at the end of Halo 3, with all the falling set pieces and explosions, this would make it so that you could time each individual object to start falling apart by setting the physics shifter from fixed to normal, causing the object to fall! I would love the idea of this because not only would you be able to do that, you could potentially simulate a building collapsing, develop even more sophisticated Rube Goldberg machines (Domino effect machines. Ex; A pallet hits a golfball which rolls into a trip-mine and into a giant hole.) This is the kind of new feature that could make Forge waaay better than it is. Also, different color palettes would be nice. XD

That actually seems like a fantastic idea. :open_mouth:

I’m very much like the idea, but could it please be in this thread.

Thanks!

It isn’t even a suggestion for Halo 5. The OP is just stating that this could be a good idea for Forge. :I

Too bad nobody’s gonna have a Xbox One to experience it… ;D. In all seriousness, though, that does sound neat.
