Breezy's Balance Wish List

Here are a few balance suggestions that I would love to see in the next balance update:

General Quality of Life Fixes (thanks metaloidmonkey for these ideas)

  • Increase scroll speed. - Remove lag when switching between control groups.General Banished changes

  • Marauder: Decrease cost to 350 supply. Slight increase to move speed and attack speed. - Banshee: Decrease cost to 250-260 supply. - Chopper: Decrease damage of Shrapnel rounds, increase amount of damage the Chopper receives from ramming. Chopper’s can now decapture Power Nodes. - Wraith: Increase damage received from air units.General UNSC changes

  • Marines: Slight increase to the damage of grenade throw. - Warthog: Decrease cost to 300-280 supply. Slight increase to damage. - Hornet: Decrease cost to 300 supply. - Kodiak: Increase damage to buildings. - Scorpion: Increase damage received from air units. Slight reduction in AOE from Canister ShellColony Changes:

  • Increase cooldown on Hunter’s Brand - Goliaths: Increase damage to buildings, slight increase in health.Shipmaster Changes:

  • Teleport now requires LOS, increase cooldown. - Displacement now takes time to activate and the opposing player can see the area being affected. I was thinking it’s time to cast would be similar to MAC Blast.Anders Changes:

  • Sentinels: Increase damage to units. (But not buildings)Forge Changes:

I have no qualms really with any of this as to me it all makes since. Particularly the cost of Banshees/Hornets. I have a hard time buying either of those units because I just don’t feel the return is justified in the cost.

I also would like to see the Warthog improved, I think it is very useless right now - and that is coming from a Banished main.

I did my best to think of ways the UNSC early and mid game could be improved. Just hard because I never play them…lol

But yes, air units just cost too much for little return, especially against tanks.

Maybe the Mantis will give Johnson players some more mid game viability as UNSC but I feel ya man. I really don’t fear UNSC players TOO much anymore unless its a cutter I am playing simply because I know in most scenarios I can probably close the game by 8-10 minutes simply because my tech 2 units are better then theirs.

My thoughts exactly, I just don’t fear UNSC until they get Scorpions.

  • Goliath buff? Get outta here - Scorpions JUST became worthwhile. No need for a nerf - Choppers are already the best opener. They shouldn’t be able to capture points for obvious reasons. - Hunter’s brand, as is is VERY effective.

I really don’t know why they didn’t give Johnson Acc. Assembly like the other vehicle oriented leaders. The Colossus takes an eternity to build and costs an arm and a leg, more than a scorpion, and stomp can’t even compare to canister shell.

I think they should move mech overcharge to T3, remove pelican transport, and replace it with Acc. Assembly as a new T4.

I actually think it’s desperately needed. They’re a pretty terrible unit. I’d much prefer Jump Brutes over Goliaths.

Choppers de-capturing power nodes was what I meant to say. All other scouts can do it. Plus my suggested nerfs to Choppers would hopefully bring them in line.

They are actually very good, for their purpose

I guess we can agree to disagree. I find them waaaay to fragile for their price and not nearly effective enough against buildings. Your experience might be different than mine.

I still think AA needs a buff. Hear me out lol. Damage is fine but a buff to movement speed and fire rate on both sides is needed to justify cost especially if air becomes cheaper.

Pelican transport is pretty useful for Johnson tbh

I can agree with this, currently AA is fine in my opinion. But they could be buffed in this way to prevent mass air dominance

grizziles should beat scorpians and isabel tanks so buff there damage and health

swap both the first passive and final passive unlock for johnson so there useful

reduce the damage output of c shell so there vehicle counter units actually beat isabel tanks

just a few bs annoyance i would like to say

Nothing like attacking Colony and then suddenly your army is dead because hunter brand and engi heal.

I pretty much just hate engi heal because it makes resto drones look like garbage.
