hi if anyone could give me a few pointers on breakout I would be grateful. I do ok in every other game type but not breakout not sure why?
I’ll spare you some tips:
- Mix up your tactics to confuse the other team. Try to also anticipate their moves as well. - Stay behind cover as much as you can. Move only when it’s safe. - Listen carefully for any footsteps or noises around you. A pair of headsets are recommended, especially as last man standing. - Take note of power weapon locations and try to get them first. - While last man, stay near cover or near the enemy team’s flag capture point. - If you have a precision weapon (Battle Rifle), stand back and provide support from a safe distance.

I will add that most of these are good, but staying behind cover is not always your best bet. Sometimes you need to make risky plays that could immensely help your team but can also destroy it.
You need a lot of teamwork and communication. Try to find some friends to play with.

I second this. Excellent Breakout players will almost always be together as a team, so it is important to know how to communicate with each other.

Yes, even the best breakout players would struggle without a team.
Some good tips here . I do play solo also sounds strange but I really struggle with the shotgun . My pistol shot is pretty good I always get a lot of kills with that or l get double digit assists because I tend to stay back and put shots down. I find that when I close quarters I lose the encounter probably 7 times out of 10 . Even if I get first shot of with the shotty I lose ??? Any shotgun tips would be helpful?
