Breakout is a much different game mode than the others in the playlist and many people in that playlist don’t want to play it. I don’t mind it, I think it’s fun. But I find that when it comes around one person will quit leaving it 3 v 4 which in Breakout is a big disadvantage. In other game types where you’re rewarded for kills it’s not such a big deal, 3 players can give you an advantage in some cases, ie: more people to kill, less of a penalty for having team wiped out. But in Breakout when it’s one life and capture the flag simultaneously it’s very annoying for anyone on the team of 3. People that want to play Breakout will no doubt be playing that playlist anyway. Thoughts?

I agree. Arena needs a lot of work. I want to play CTF, yet all I get is Breakout.
Breakout only makes sense to me being played in a tournament environment. Having a Bo3/5. Not a single game.
It’s like playing a Halo 2 playlist and one game is Halo 2 1.0 and the other is 1.1.

You should stop playing Team Arena if you are the type of person to quit out of matches. I know that isn’t a great solution, but quitting matches isn’t either. It’s inconsiderate to go into a matchmaking, not get what you want and then quit because you can’t have it your way.
I agree that breakout should be removed from Team Arena. It doesn’t make sense that it’s there to be honest.

I understand that it is the only playlist that has objective. I think they should have had an objective playlist instead of team arena, however that doesn’t excuse the fact that you quit out of matches just because you got breakout. That behavior is pretty toxic and will eventually lead to a ban if you do it often enough.
At this point, all I’m saying is that you are aware of the possibility to play breakout in Team Arena. Do your team a solid and don’t quit. Stick it out, otherwise you are a problem and will eventually be banned for it.

I love breakout but I kind of agree here; too many quitters when it shows up.
Guys, you wouldn’t have to quit out of breakout if you just don’t play it. And it’s gonna take more than a week to get everything where it should be. They’re moderating in the shadows seeing what we like and don’t like and in due time there will be changes. Have patience.
I agree just seems like a way to make people think they have more gametypes than they really do.

Thanks. It’s not often I get to block a quitter before having to deal with a 3v4.
On Topic: Team Arena would be fine to have all the modes (That seems to be its theme) if there were just a dang objective playlist. Like seriously, why does this game not have a dedicated objective playlist? Slayer and Breakout get their own playlist, then they toss everything else into a pot with those same items. It’s ridiculous.
Very short-sighted of 343i on this one, in my opinion. Even if it’s just CTF and Strongholds right now, they could establish the playlist and just add modes to it as they make it into the game.
Agreed, get rid of Breakout in TA, and add oddball and more CTF variants instead!

Slayer and Breakout have their own playlists, they shouldn’t be in the team playlist at all.
