So far from my experience it’s pretty fun, the only problem I have are the grenades and that seems to be it. I find it kinda funny that I can find good teammates on breakout but can’t find people like that anywhere in modes like arena or warzone. I’m sure some can agree that it’s even more fun with friends when you can all run around huddled together opening your eyes and ears building tension.
I guess,… needs to be removed from team arena though.
Just knowing that you truly shoot to kill makes it that much more intense. It’s strange having this type of game mode in halo, but it’s so fun and I think it’s implemented well.

Eh, I guess but where should they put it if they did remove it? Maybe put it in a social playlist?
Yeah it’s a really good game mode! It’s absolute -Yoink!- chaos in Team Arena though, it doesn’t fit into the mix that well.

A match I had last night got pretty intense, the tension was so high when it got to the last two people and whoever won had the entire team screaming with excitement through their mics.

Team arena is just barbaric! Had three matches in a row on the rig and god almighty it was like operation metro in battlefield. A confusing -Yoink- with Michael Bay style explosions left and right.
It is addicting for sure. It was a little frustrating at first for me, but after getting the hang of it, I’ve really come to enjoy it
I love Breakout it’s amazing, on paper it doesn’t seem like my cup of tea but I can’t get enough of it.

The maps are pretty good too, small enough to reach the battlefield and big enough to have some wiggle room.
I did not care much for this mode in the beta but I will give it a chance over the next week and at least get my first 10 games so I achieve a rank. I will probably jump in once in a while just to check it out. I do not think Breakout should be in Team Arena. That will for sure cause problems with quitters.
Warzone is more of my game type for sure. Vehicles, big maps, JIP, AI, and pure chaos.
They need to nerf active camo on breakout
I’ve not played halo 5. What’s the difference between breakout and neutral assault?
Breakout is awesome, haven’t gotten a chance to play with friends yet but I’m pretty sure that will make it more fun plus then we will have better communication, only a couple people actually use their mics. The first time I heard someone use their mic they were complaining about how 343s only new mode was breakout but he didn’t mention anything about warzone XD but the other people used their mics to help.
Always try to go in with a party and it works for me. We play for hours and win most games. Really great gametype. Only thing is that certain areas of some maps could be adjusted.
