So it turns out the Forge map that features the Breakout maps, Crossfire and Trench, is made specifically for Breakout. That means that this map isn’t really a Forge canvas, but more of a highly customizable arena.
However, the map that Pegasus and Orion (presumably) are Forged on could actually be a huge Forge map. I like the fact you can have canvas pieces in Halo 2 Anniversary, but I like preset maps to build on, because it takes less work and is more fun to play on.
What do you think?
Nothing?
I think your lazy and I like starting from scratch feels like all my own.
I like that idea, you get a more map-like skybox while also getting to forge the map itself to your desire. Win-win for me.
Really hope Forge has been rebuilt from the ground up. Seeing the same damn rocks and crates in every single forge since Halo 3 is tedious. Halo 2 Anniversary forge has added some great features and finally addressed a lot of bugs but we are in desperate need of some new pieces to play with full stop,
Halo 2a forge is what forge and has been leading to and halo 5 will optimize it perfectly.
This was confirmed a while ago, but it does excite me on what other forge pieces we will get.

When I’m forging, yes. I will definitely make my own terrain. However, if I’m playing friends and I want to goof off, I just want a preset, empty, huge map like Forge World.
