I actually don’t mind the extermination gametype in general, but the commendations are clearly built around standard breakout.
I can’t imagine getting an immortal medal in extermination, unless your team gets all 4 opposition very quickly every round. Definitely have not seen that happen ever.
Bifecta, Trifecta and Superfecta are also very tough in extermination.
Add all this to the fact that Extermination comes up quite often in the playlist.
If anyone’s still playing breakout when I reach 152, maybe I’ll circle back to them. Not likely though.

You can get them fairly easily playing Mantis Breakout that’s the only way I have gotten Immortal or those sort of medals. Unfortunately action sack is rotational
I believe the commendations count for any Breakout style game type.
I need these as well, surviving a game is easy if you have friends but that winning a round alone is just a dirty word of a commendation.
The one I tried real hard to get but never did was kill an opponent with a pistol, grenade, and melee in a single round.

Is glitched
I learned on the weekend there is a way in extermination to die during the match and still get an immortal medal. If you 5-0 the other team, and you are alive as each round ends, you will still get the medal, even if you did die during the match.
Rare circumstance, but it happened to me.
