Breaking: UNSC INVADES EARTH FOR UNKNOWN Reason

There’s two scenarios.

  • How would it play out if the UNSC tried to invade earth today in time? You can pick any version of the UNSC and any purpose for why they are invading. - The UNSC tries to take over Earth but tries not to actually harm or kill everyone. If they can’t peacefully take over the planet, then they are forced to do something. Again, any version of the UNSC and any purpose.

  • In short, they’d wipe the floor with us. Even post-war, the UNSC would have more than enough resources to invade Earth. Orbital bombardments, MAC cannons, Spartans, ODSTs… there are just too many resources and too much advanced technology for present day Earth to survive. The UNSC would have space, air, and ground superiority. - This would be kinda interesting since it would be humans coming to Earth where humans already reside. The problem though is that present day Earth doesn’t have a central government for the UNSC to negotiate with. Even if one faction of present day Earth was cool with it, there would be a dozen more that would not be cool with it at all. So I think it would eventually devolve to scenario 1, meaning we would still get completely annihilated by the UNSC.
