While working on some other projects utilizing the weapon lowering “glitch”, I found some ways to break out of the maps. I wanted to share some of my findings because they were pretty interesting.

I feel like these maps had a lot more going on and they had to scrap some ideas entirely, and reduce the play area. Aquarius is a small example, I’m about to start exploring more.
The amount of detail in some of the background is amazing.
Are we supposed to hear those spooky sounds in game?
As you suggest - they may have cut the maps to reduce size / improve flow. I think it would be awesome if they opened some of those areas back up. Like in Fiesta games. Just to change up the play and mindset from ranked type games.
I’m betting some of the maps that cause more strain on the fps on computers have assets like that taking up memory. I need to look closely at streets, that map seems to make my frames drop more than others
Thanks for sharing, this is great stuff! I had no idea that this map even had any spot you could see into the outside with. I think it’s very interesting that a lot of these areas have textures and detail in areas that players could never see. I already knew of the unused rooms and paths on a few of the multiplayer maps but this is something else entirely. I’m excited to try this out later.
