So I played in a Halo Reach FFA Tourney Hosted by Blue Team Tournaments. I unfortunately played very poorly in the 2nd Round and wanted to break down, what I did wrong and give some pointers and advice, not only for myself, but for everyone wanting to improve their gameplay as well. Alr (sry I’m on my phone so I’ll be usin abbr if that’s fine w u 
) so I want to make two things clear. First of all, it was an EU server, so ofc there were gon be some issues w shot reg problems Second, u were up against some very, very good players. King Nick is insane. I believe he won the whole thing by 20? For the sake of time, I watched only the gameplay part so, that’s like 20 mins of it. Idk what u said bout ur gameplay afterwards and I’ll have to go back and watch it. So first I spawned bottom mid and went straight to blue 1 and attempted blue jump. Every time u spawn bottom mid, try goin hollows, up main ramp, to upper hollows/GL. It’s way more efficient and ur least gonna get picked off unless someone is plasma. But ur more likely gonna get picked off goin to blue or red 1. Throughout the game u kept spawning bottom mid and kinda mixed it up a bit. Sometimes getting picked off around hollows. Other times u ran around street, flag, and play. That’s where most of the fighting was going on. Sometimes it would’ve been efficient to actually cross gold thru ring three to the opposite side. This is actually an overlooked strat in FFA Zealot because people think it’s a waste of time. However while crossing look bottom mid and top streets. As u cross u might be able to steal a few other ppl’s kills. Well I have to go now. I’ll add to this ltr. Hopefully this is helpful.

I totally acknowledged the hollows, run I talked to King Nick later and even he was like confused on the way host was determined in the tourney. Both games I played were EU which was suuper unfortunated. I figured out though with the bottom mid spawn I just need to run hollows, I just had a lot of different plays I could’ve made and made so many bad decisions, I wasted a ton of time floating top gold when everyone was hollows, in that situation I should’ve pushed top mid and made my way to Red/Blue Flag.

Honestly, you were doing right things at wrong times. It was just one bad game, don’t let it determine how your next one is. Also a tip is to use that teleporter. That catches so much people off guard. Don’t know if any of this was helpful to you but i do wish you luck lol.
