Breach, Standoff, and Believe Stance Guide.

This guide is a work in progress, any help is greatly appreciated!

I know a lot of you probably want one of these stances so this is my guide to unlocking them!

First you should have a good Loadout.

Primary: DMR

Secondary: Magnum or Plasma Pistol

Ability: Jetpack or Camo

Tactical: Requisition (From Tracker Specialization)

Support: Ammo

Now pick which stance you’re going for.

Breach:

Sticky Detonator: This is a fairly common weapon appearing mostly on small maps such as Adrift, Abandon, and Haven. It can be found on other maps but not as often. It appears frequently in personal ordinance drops. Regicide, Infinity slayer, and Team Throwdown are the Recommended game types.

Rocket launcher: The classic rocket launcher is commonly found on large maps such as Exile and Longbow. These two maps are the best to get Rocket kills especially in Dominion. Recommended game types are Dominion, BTB, and Team Fiesta.

SAW: The SAW is a very common weapon that drops on Exile and Longbow but appears frequently in personal ordinance. It can be obtained on almost every map. Game types I recommend are Infinity slayer, BTB and Dominion.

Spartan Laser: This weapon is one of the rarer ones that isn’t used as often as others due to it being harder to use. It drops on Ragnarok and Longbow. It appears more often in Dominion but BTB is also an option.

Rail Gun: The rail gun spawns on many maps such as Longbow, Ragnarok, and Complex. It’s a bit difficult to use at times but these game types should help out. I recommend Team Throwdown, Infinity slayer, BTB and Doubles.

Shotgun: This one is simple. Play Flood and lots of it!

Sniper: Team Snipers should do the trick!

Standoff:

Fuel Rod: This is a hard one to find. It spawns under the bridge by the Scorpion on Exile and in a cave on Longbow. Team Fiesta is greatly recommended!

Energy Sword: It spawns on Adrift during Infinity slayer and Regicide but it’s easier to get kills with it in Grifball and Team Fiesta.

Gravity Hammer: GRIFBALL.

Concussion Rifle: This one is the hardest of all since it hardly spawns on maps at all but there is one on Exile. I recommend playing Infinity slayer and use it wisely if you get it.

Beam Rifle: This ones tricky as well because it mostly appears in personal ordinance. Play Infinity slayer and BTB for the most kills. Team Snipers can work too.

Needler: This one spawn frequently on almost all maps. Haven, Adrift and Abandon being the best maps for it. I recommend Infinity slayer and Regicide for game types.

Believe:

Scattershot: This shotgun spawns on Haven, Adrift, Abandon, and appears often in personal ordinance. Regicide and Infinity slayer are the best game types for this weapon.

Incineration Cannon: It spawns most often on Meltdown, Solace, and Vortex. The best Game types are Dominion and Team Fiesta.

Binary Rifle: It spawns rarely on Ragnarok, Meltdown, and Vortex. The best game type is Team Fiesta because of Binary slayer but dominion works too.

That’s all the info I have for now please message me if I missed anything or if there’s something I should add!

For Breach(Exile, Longbow & Shatter) and Believe(Meltdown & Vortex), play lots and lots of Dominion. For Standoff, play BTB/team slayer. I also suggest you use ammo.

Thanks for the info!

Have the ammo boosting perk, helps tenfold.

For energy sword and hammer, play Grifball.

Also, a FRG spawns in the trench near the tank on Exile (not at the start of the match though).

Does shooting the turrets with Spartan Lasers in dominion count as a kill or no?

Its the last UNSC weapon I need, and I really want to speed it along.

I don’t think the turret kills count. Kinda sucks but it makes sense.

right there with ya, I can do the rail gun and sticky det. Laser Takes too long

It would be cool if I got the Breach stance.

WOAH WHAT THE MOTHER?

haven also will spawn a binary rifle/incineration cannon very rarely

Never seen Longbow produce Beam Rifles or Fuel Rods in Dominion. Its all UNSC weaponry. Last I played was last week though.

Dominion and Vortex/Meltdown are the easiest way to get Believe, I got very far with Forerunner Ordinance and I lag horribly.

Thanks for the help everyone! I’ve edited the original post.

An update for longbow Op Fuel Rod Gun Spawns in Blue cave. (Off to the left of Blue Spawn) When it spawns is random as all frozen tundra.

Updated.

Hello my fellow spartans!
After days and days of grinding and effort, I have finally achieved the stance I have been going for.
I want to help you peeps out on getting the stance: Standoff
This is my guide to you all!

Gravity Hammer: Grifball.
-Tips for Gravity Hammer: Smash enemies, score goals.
-Comments: Go Crazy!

Energy sword: Grifball.
-Tips for Energy sword: Always try to trick out the ball carrier instead of taking the ball carrier head on with the sword, if the ball carrier melee at the same time as you lunge, you will lose. Back up until the ball carrier misses their swing and go for the lunge. As for Gravity hammers, it is best to strike when they are distracted with your team ball carrier, always try to take them from behind. If you are up for the challenge, try and fake out gravity hammer users by letting them strike and missing you, after they missed their strike, go up for the lunge as soon as possible.
-Comments: A fun thing I like to do, as you lunge towards your enemy’s back, hold down the melee button during mid-lunge and you will perform the swordssassination. Cool little trick I found out back in Halo: Reach Grifball, if you want to take advantage of the sword’s lunge for the assassination. Don’t worry, the assassination will count towards the sword commendation as well.

Beam Rifle: Team snipers.
-Tips for Beam Rifle: Vote for Team snipers on maps such as Haven, Abandon, Shutout, Solace, and Ragnorak. Those maps will have a beam rifle spawn (Solace has two). I suggest you play alot of team snipers to know these beam rifle spawns. Always rush the beam rifle at the start of the match. If the enemy has the possession of the beam rifle, always track him down. If your teammate has it, always follow around him until he dies, when he does, pick up the beam rifle and go on with your business. Team snipers is great for beam rifle, as it is more consistent to get the weapon rather than relying on ordnance.
-Comments: The beam rifle is a machine for getting snapshots. I recommend that you don’t aim at all with the weapon, but only zoom in when at reasonable distances. I have forgotten all the beam rifle spawns, but I know for sure that they are on the maps I have listed above.

Concussion Rifle: Team doubles / Big Team Infinity Slayer.
-Tips for Concussion Rifle: Play Team doubles and vote for infinity doubles as that gametype is the most consistent with concussion rifles in the personal ordnances. In team doubles, you will get more 1v1 confrontations, enhancing your survival with such a weapon. Always run requisition and ordnance priority, and try to place the concussion rifle shots carefully, as it takes 3-4 shots to kill. It is best to suprise your enemies by not letting them see you on their radar, and don’t try to use this weapon at range, as you will miss most of your shots and possibly result in reloading before you achieve the kill, spelling your demise. In Big Team, on Exile, there is a random concussion rifle spawn under the banshee. In Big team, always run requisition and boost your chance of getting the gun, and drop recon to get first pickings at the random gun drop location. I cannot stress this enough, always suprise your enemies with this gun and place shots carefully, such as waiting for them around corners.
-Comments: This is by far the most difficult weapon I have had to achieve, as it’s rarity and difficulty of use of the weapon is what makes most players stray away from this gun.

Needler: Team Throwdown / (Big team) Infinity slayer.
-Tips for Needler: In Team Throwdown, all maps will have a needler spawn(s) that will keep on respawning overtime in the same locations, making this gametype the most consistent with needler spawns. Always keep your crosshairs red on the enemy in open areas to keep the needler’s effectiveness. It is the most effective at medium ranges. As for (Big team) Infinity slayer, both game types have somewhat consistency for needlers appearing in personal ordnances, and some maps have initial needler spawns as well as random spawns. If planning to play (Big Team) Infinity slayer, I advise using the jetpack along with the needler as it is suprisingly effective in an open area with your enemy. Run requisition and ordnance priority. I’d stay away from drop recon for the needler because not very many people will go for needler ordnance spawns.
-Comments: This weapon isn’t so bad. Be weary though, as team throwdown will have challenging players that may have the knowledges to counter the effectiveness of your needler.

Fuel Rod Cannon: Big Team Infinity slayer.
-Tips for Fuel Rod Cannon (FRC): In Exile, the FRC will randomly spawn near the bridge next to the tank spawn. In Longbow, it will randomly spawn in the cave on the blue side spawn of the middle top base. Always run requisition and drop recon. If not playing on these maps, always run ordnance priority instead of drop recon. Do not spam shots! Always place shots and time them carefully to ensure you get atleast 10 kills each time you get this weapon, as its rarity will consume the most time of mastering this weapon out of all the covenant weapons. You may even want to consider this tactic, as when if you see the FRC in your ordnance, kill yourself and put on the ammo support and then call in your FRC to add another clip to extend your usage of the weapon.
-Comments: This is the most time consuming gun as it is very rare in personal ordnances and sometimes the random spawn locations might not even spawn before the game ends. It rivals the concussion rifle’s usage difficulty but if you are a boss with this weapon everytime you attain it, you’ll master this weapon in no time.

Last Comments: Of course, feel free to add anything you need upon this guide. I am sure that with enough determination and time put into achieving this stance, I believe that anyone can get the stance no matter the odds stacked against them.

-Pzyk0powa, out.

anyone have railgun tips?
ragnarok, longbow and meltdown have them as initial drops I know, but Im looking to get more than 1 or 2 kills every so often.

Doubles has it on most maps and it appears in your POD almost every time.

What about the sticky detonator? Is 4v4 the best playlist for this weapon?

> What about the sticky detonator? Is 4v4 the best playlist for this weapon?

wondering about this too

are there any 4v4 maps/gamestypes where the railgun is an initial spawn?
