how do i unlock it. I have heard that i need to complete the UNSC loadout weapons commendation. is this true? and can i complete commendations through spartan ops? like the BR commendation?

No. The first is ten kills, then 25, 75, and 250. So all together, 360 kills. Not so bad.
Learn to grind modes that are focused around these weapons. Team Sniper for the snipe kills, Flood for the shotty.

Just so everyone knows, “Standoff” is unlocked through the Covenant ordnance mastery. UNSC loadout mastery unlocks the “Protector” armor set and UNSC ordnance mastery unlocks the “Breach” stance

Necro, but has to have been modded; you need 1000 kills with the AR, BR, and DMR for the final level of the commendation alone (and I think it was 500 or 750 on the final tier alone with the pistol).

Do you mean to say that when you look at the stance you can’t see the caption either?
It’s UNSC ORDANCE MASTERY. I’m looking at it right now in the game. If it was LOAD OUT MASTERY I would have it, since I’ve actually completed the UNSC LOAD OUT MASTERY.

I want this Breach but it tends to be difficult through Multiplayer since there is a lot of weapons that dont show up often.
Does anyone know if kills with these weapons in SOps count towards it? I am going to try it out anyways right now
If you goto commendations>weapons and look at your overall weapons commendation progress, below is a description that says
“Earn commendations for using weapons in War Games”
That means each kill must be in war games. Spartan ops kills dont count
Also if you’re trying to do it fast, I suggest using the “Requisition” armor mod once you unlocked the appropriate specialization. When playing modes with ordance drops, the armor mod will give you the ability to reroll the dice on which power weapon you get. This armor mod works very nicely with the Ordance Priority armor mod, which allows you to obtain the ordance drops faster. Both of these armor mods together are a very nice combo for getting these commendations.
