My son is color blind. He has done well even tho blue isn’t a color he can see. Their is a few other colors he can’t see. And maps like entombed he can’t even see people if he is on red team…
It has made btb very hard for him.
I also am partially colorblind and have found that tweaking contrast can sometimes help on troublesome maps. Just a thought.
I’m colorblind as well, I currently don’t have gold though at the moment so I haven’t been able to see how bad the btb lamps are.
Yeah we mess with contrast, tv has a custom setting for him. Just reminds me of NFL color rush last year,thier was that one game that some color blind people couldn’t tell who was on what team.
I know teams are red v blue, and it is really amazing that those that can’t see some colors can over come that and do so well. Yes he does get some betrayals. Mainly on ghosts sometimes he can’t tell until it’s to late.
Well back on subject. Map makers should make sure that backgrounds don’t make people invisible to a few of the major colorblind colors.
I have only 1 working eye and what kills me the most is the glare. Unfortunately most game designers don’t incorporate much help.
