I have never had such a hair pulling experience in all my years of Halo. It isn’t a bad hard though, it is a very nice addition to the game and I wasn’t expecting it.
Still haven’t beat him though, oh well.
What do you guys think of the Warden Eternal fight? Please keep it spoiler clean for the people who haven’t completed it yet.
Unexpected, somewhat frustrating on solo legendary, but not that bad.
Any tips for Legendary? I just spammed him with Incineration Cannon and grenades on Heroic and he went down rather quickly. I assume Legendary might require some more planning
On legendary solo, it’s basically Chief vs the wardens… your AI teamates won’t be able to do crap since the warden just one-shots them every two seconds…

I found the 2nd one easier because I had a full fuel rod cannon - though I kept dying after from the minion with the disrupter right after so I had to do it a few times
I would just use the squad as a decoy and light up his back with heavy weapons. Then rinse and repeat
I was actually surprised to see decent boss battles in this game, after the atrocious example set by H2. I’m not looking forward to the last encounter with the Warden on Legendary, though.
I got lucky the first time and he fell off the map while I was being revived lol (he died too fast for my team to have taken him out).
Finally beat him on Mission 5. Apparently all I had to do was hit him in an exact spot on his back core while I was using the rest of Osiris on his back twice with a fully charged Incineration Cannon and he was dead.

Just beat all the Warden fights. Just take your team to one of the corners of the map, and lead one Warden at a time in there. Then repeatedly Scattershot him in the back. It’s actually pretty easy, especially if you know how to direct your teammates.
Bravo indeed. Why create four boss fights when you can just do the same one four times?
Come to think of it, MGS5 did the same thing. Is this the year of redundancy or something?
