Just a thought…

There was some confusion as to why Installation 05 was “Delta” Halo when it was the second Ring discovered after Installation 04, which was labeled as “Alpha” Halo. If they were labeling them in the order of their discovery then it should have been called “Bravo” Halo. Now it is possible that they were not actually identified by the order they were discovered but what if they were? We now know from Glasslands that ONI has a research station around Installation 03 but we know nothing about it other than that. So I’m wondering if perhaps ONI had been aware of at least two other Halos before the In Amber Clad discovered Installation 05 and that is why it was labeled as the 4th ring discovered.

Installation 03 could be one of those two Halos because we know that it was discovered but I don’t know what the other one could be. At first I thought it could have been Installation 07 but they give the impression in Primordium that ONI only believes the station still exists based on fleet data, not that they actually found it.

Anyways I thought this was interesting so I wanted to share the theory. ONI is in the habit of knowing a lot more about what’s going on then they should know so it’s not too far off when you think about it. What do you guys think?

Perhaps, after all the Mona Lisa had to get Flood from somewhere. Not sure if they were there prior to Alpha Halo’s destruction, but I doubt any viable samples would remain after. Maybe info gathered on the Ark pointed them to the other Halos?

In regards to the mona lisa it either happens before john gets back or right after. Some of us think it happens while he is on the AJ (me) others think it happens while he is on the cario. But regardless they still got there way too fast so they must have had prior knowledge on the rings.

You have a good observation there. It isn’t a secret that ONI has a lot of secrets, it’s highly probable that they have the location of most, if not all the Halo rings.
